Sylvie Rose M Nicolas
Totalement autodidacte, elle commence très jeune la peinture à l’ huile et peint plus tard à l’acrylique plus adaptée pour ses tableaux très graphiques avec beaucoup d’aplats comme la série des « PAINT OVER » et « MARSEILLE »
Son style est entre l’hyper-réalisme et la BD, elle aime peindre les buildings ou autre composition architecturale des villes qu’elle aime.
Elle expose dans diverses galeries parisiennes et suisses, elle est représentée par des galeries dans des art show comme l’ »Affordable Art Fair » de Londres , Paris et Bruxelles
Entre des périodes de peinture intensives dans son atelier à Marseille et maintenant Deauville, elle peint des décors pour des particuliers (trompe l’œil,faux marbre, faux bois etc..) S’étant fait la main pendant de nombreuses années en tant que chef peintre pour des décors de films , compagnies de danse et théâtre aussi bien en France qu’aux Etats unis où elle a vécu longtemps, Elle souhaite aujourd’hui montrer une autre façon de voir le monde, par ses choix de couleurs très vives, ses prises de vue uniques. Elle s’inspire beaucoup de sa ville favorite: New York.Son travail est très joyeux. Un peu de gaieté dans ce monde de brutes est son principal moteur !

2018: Started retouching a series of very old oil paintings to make them alive again and more modern. Realised a painting from Mondrian for the hôtel Le Corbusier room and a Corbusier unit of measure drawing ‘ le Modulor ’ in the room where the old superette was on the third floor. Realised a series of eleven paintings for the hotel La Résidence and a mural from MONDRIAN in the new conference room. DICKY ‘s rebirth, cartoon character born in the 80s and with him do some street art.
2019 : New order of four paintings for the hotel LA Residence, plus decorative painting …Participed at the « REMOTE » salon in New York with DICKY. Exhibition « SOLID’ART » at the « CARTONNERIE » in Marseille..Participed at VOEUX d’Artistes. Sold paintings for private clients . Paintings online through« MRIart.com » and another salon « PURITY » in New York still with DICKY
2020: Exhibited at the « Nhow hôtel » in Marseille. Decorative painting, faux wood, faux marble, etc.. in a castle. Decided to live in DEAUVILLE
